Friends of Ruby is dedicated to supporting the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth aged 16-29 through mental health services, social programs, and housing. We operate a Youth Drop-In Centre, offering barrier-free counselling, hot meals, and community programming, and a Transitional Home, providing emergency and long-term housing with life-skills support.
Join Us in the Pride Parade!
March with Friends of Ruby! Pride is around the corner, and Friends of Ruby is excited to be marching in the parade — and we want YOU to be part of it! We are calling on volunteers (unpaid) to join us as we celebrate and stand in solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. This is your chance to show your pride, connect with the community, and support a cause that matters.
How to Participate
To participate, please complete this application form. Spaces are limited so be sure to sign up quickly – apply by May 30, 2025. Whether you are a longtime supporter, current/past Friends of Ruby service user,
or just getting to know us, everyone is welcome to join. Let’s march with purpose, pride, and the power of community.
We will follow up within 2 weeks of the closing date with the next steps and all the details you need to get parade ready!
