- Assist with the unloading/loading of merchandise and materials of incoming trucks
- Understand proper receiving procedures and paperwork
- Know the correct location of all products in stock to better assist customers and coworkers
-Excellent organizational skills; Accuracy and attention to detail
-Move merchandise from receiving / warehouse to sales-floor with the assistance of coworkers
-Change prices on merchandise, bins, displays, etc. as necessary
- Keep warehouse, storage, and check-in areas neat, clean and orderly
- Perform regular warehouse & store maintenance such as sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean, dust or other duties as assigned
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management, supervisor, coworkers, and delivery personnel while maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude
- Participate in regular cycle counting, and assist in taking annual inventory counts
- Physical activity required, including lifting and moving boxes (up to 50lbs), reaching overhead, bending, squatting, kneeling, walking up and down staircase and standing for long periods of time
-Be able to handle frequently changing priorities
-Good comprehension of written and printed materials, and arithmetic
-Self-motivated & good problem solving ability
-Able to adapt quickly and react positively to change in routine
