Your main tasks will be to:

• Process quotation requests from various sources.
• Evaluate and pursue new customer and contract opportunities.
• Set profit margins on various files, according to financial objectives.
• Negotiate rates with agents and carriers (ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies).
• Select the most competitive rates and prepare quotations using Freightos software.
• Follow-up on tight deadlines with customers.
• Transfer customer files with operations once quotes are accepted.

What we are looking for:

• You are bilingual in French and English in order to be able to communicate with future colleagues and customers based anywhere in Canada and the world.
• You have a degree in logistics or a related field.
• You have similar experience with an international forwarder.
• CIFFA certification is an asset.
• You enjoy teamwork, challenges and customer service.
• You are rigorous, detail-oriented and autonomous.
