Known for our daily lunch specials, takeout meals, and from-scratch baked goods, we serve loyal regulars, catering clients, and visitors alike. ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a skilled Prep / Line Cook who thrives in a busy kitchen and brings strong organizational skills and efficiency to their station. You’ll support the daily production of high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and well-established recipes. Your ability to follow prep plans, manage time effectively, and uphold cleanliness standards is essential.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Follow daily prep lists and recipes as outlined by the Kitchen Manager and Chef
- Label, stock, and organize ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen flow
- Measure and portion ingredients according to specifications
- Wash, chop, and prepare produce and proteins as required
- Execute basic cooking techniques (reducing sauces, parboiling, braising)
- Assemble and prepare simple dishes and components for service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Ensure all food items are stored and rotated properly
- Adhere to nutrition, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Complete other kitchen duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE
- Naturally organized, with a methodical approach to your work
- Comfortable working independently and managing your prep schedule
- Dependable, punctual, and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Steady under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Positive and communicative teammate with a balanced temperament
- Experienced working in a commercial kitchen (please include references)
- Skilled with knives and familiar with standard cuts and techniques
- Comfortable using commercial kitchen equipment safely
- Open to learning, coachable, and receptive to feedback
- Culinary school experience is an asset but not required
CONDITIONS
- Must be available Tuesday through Saturday, between 6 AM and 5 PM
- Must hold or be willing to obtain Safe Food Handling Certification
- Holiday closure: 2-week annual break over Christmas
