Job Summary: Otto Heating & Cooling is looking for a motivated and skilled Plumber and Gasfitter to join our growing team in Edmonton. We are seeking a J-man with hands-on experience servicing residential and light commercial plumbing, heating and cooling systems. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment including plumbing work, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and commercial rooftop units. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing work, as well as HVAC systems including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and RTUs
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
- Complete accurate service reports and communicate findings to customers and office staff
- Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
- Collaborate with the service manager and dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient service calls
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and inventory of parts
- Stay current with codes, regulations, and best practices
Qualifications:
- Registered JM in Alberta
- Valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
