Job Title: Plant Helper
Location: Peace River, AB
Shift: Rotational (days/nights/weekends)
Position Summary: The Plant Helper primarily works in outdoor weather conditions and assists with day-to-day activities in our production operations. The Plant Helper will perform a variety of tasks from shoveling sand to operating a skid steer. Plant Helpers must be flexible with duties and responsibilities as they could change frequently throughout each shift.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Shovel/clean up spillage of sand, rock, or mud at conveyor transfer points, feeder discharges, plant leakage areas, and spillovers.
- Perform plant inspections, within scope, and report issues to plant operator and/or shift supervisor.
- Observe and monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations and to identify malfunctions.
- Operate equipment, within scope, which may include skid steer, man lift, loader, Company vehicles, etc.
- Pull product samples for quality control and adhere to strict quality control standards.
- Perform basic plant maintenance duties, within scope.
- Other duties as assigned
Who We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work well on a team, or independently.
