The Pizza Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing staff. They maintain quality standards, handle customer issues, and ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise Staff:
* Oversee and coordinate the activities of pizza restaurant staff, including pizza makers, servers, and kitchen staff.
* Provide training to new employees and ongoing coaching to existing staff.
* Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve performance.
* Ensure Customer Satisfaction:
* Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
* Ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
* Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
* Maintain Quality Standards:
* Ensure that all food preparation meets quality and hygiene standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
* Oversee Daily Operations:
* Open and close the restaurant, ensuring all tasks are completed according to procedures.
* Manage cash handling and ensure accurate daily sales records.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during shifts.
* Manage Inventory:
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
* Place orders with suppliers to replenish inventory.
* Ensure proper storage and handling of all food items.
* Enforce Policies and Procedures:
* Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Implement and enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
* Experience:
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or food service environment.
* Experience in pizza making or a similar culinary role is a plus.
* Skills:
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
* Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or hospitality training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
* Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
