Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality pizzas and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent food service. New Orleans pizza experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of pizzas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Proven experience in meal preparation within the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures related to pizza making.
