We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering pizza to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and effective communication. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment for moving heavy items when required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to perform lifting, climbing stairs and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading products.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
