Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks to enhance their recovery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the physiotherapist.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and daily activities.
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions by monitoring their condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare team.
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
