Okanagan owned and operated Rose Valley Pharmacy is looking for a part time or full time Pharmacy Technician.
No Evening or Weekend - Shift flexibility
Looking for a qualified Pharmacy Technician who:
- Has active and valid registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skill
- Is proficient in the prescription dispensing process
- Is committed to upholding ethical and legal standards, and best practices, and working within the full extent of their scope of practice
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Assist in accurately dispensing prescriptions alongside pharmacists and pharmacy assistants
- Maintaining accuracy of patient medical profiles
- Inventory management
- Partake in professional development and continuing education, as well as pharmacy based round-table discussions
- Interprofessional collaboration with nearby Physician offices and Maternity clinics
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible Scheduling
