- Filling prescriptions
- Helps patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist when needed.
- Handle clients pick up POS system assist with cash register
- Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Preparing blister packaging
- Experience in compounding
- Pharmaclik /Mckesson ordering is a positive
Candidate should have excellent communication skills, to be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, health professionals and patients.
Minimum 2 years pharmacy assistant experience.
We are looking for a candidate who is experienced and confident working as a technician/assistant in a very busy family owned, community pharmacy where customer service and efficiency are expected at an optimal standard.
