We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists with various tasks related to medication management and patient care. This position is essential in ensuring that our pharmacy operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies and managing medication storage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Process prescription orders and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with staff and patients.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting for 1 year is must.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care.

- Knowledge of kroll software is asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.19-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
