We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. This position involves assisting with various tasks related to medication management and patient care, contributing to a positive experience for patients and healthcare providers alike.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards, including proper labeling and storage of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective patient care and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication orders, and patient information.
Skills
- No experience required but previous pharmacy technician experience is a plus for familiarity with pharmacy operations.
- Strong patient care skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
