A Janzen’s Pharmacy Assistant must ensure the efficient functioning of the Pharmacy by providing customers with the best quality products, while being courteous with timely customer service.
The target is to ensure excellent service standards, maintain high customer satisfaction and contribute to the growth and success of Janzen’s Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Filling medication orders including measuring, mixing, packaging and labeling
- Managing inventory, including re-stocking, monitoring expired products and inventory management
- Receiving written prescriptions and inputting prescriptions into the computer system
- Maintaining computerized lists of medications taken by patients and ensuring confidentiality of client records and information
- Assist clients in navigating the many Janzen’s Pharmacy services
- Communicating with clients and health care providers
- Operating a cash register
- Receiving and sending electronic communications
- Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls from our customers on issues related to benefit eligibility questions and prescription status inquiries
- Identify issues and communicate solutions and steps to customers with prescription orders and reorders
- Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify any questions or issues while documenting required information
- Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.

- Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation

Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50-$21.00 per hour
