Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique
- Infuse medications and fluids as directed by pharmacists
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with critical care medications and patient care processes
