Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant accredited course preferred or a minimum of 2 years of related canadian experience
- Kroll: 1+ year
- Pharmacy: 1+year
- Good communication, customer service skills and able work in a team.
- Knowledge of Kroll software
- Proficiency with Word, Excel/Google spreadsheets and other database programs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to details, accuracy maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Understand the priorities in pharmacy fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Greet customer promptly and gather prescription information according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Data entry (Kroll software)
- Able to read prescription and Identify medications to fill prescriptions according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice
- Good communication skills to handle Prescription drop off and pickup
- Managing customer inquiries both in person and over the phone
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and manage supplies
- Sending and receiving drug order
- Build rapport with patients to provide best possible care
- Resolve technical issues by contacting IT Service Desk or Third-Party adjudicators as required
- Weekly duties: cycle counts, return to stocks
- Adhere to all applicable company policies
