What you’ll do:
Reporting to the General Manger, this position is responsible for managing, overseeing, and leading the strategy and overall day-to-day operations of the Bulk Petroleum department and cardlock operations.
- Apply a broad-based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
- Oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
- Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
- Develop, review, and obtain approval of annual operating budgets to ensure adherence and appropriate utilization of funds.
- Build strong customer relationships through an effective strategic marketing and networking strategy including an effective customer contact program.
Who you are:
You are looking for a retail career in Petroleum and:
- Have a proficient understanding of petroleum, lubricant, and equipment products.
- Have strong interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Possess a valid Class 3A Driver’s License (Class 1 with air considered an asset).
- You are honest and trustworthy, as well as results oriented, effectively encouraging others and striving to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
