We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. We are a highly pet-friendly neighborhood on the beaches. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being and safety of our furry guests while delivering excellent service to their owners. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by following hygiene protocols and cleaning equipment after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
- Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients in a compassionate and caring manner.
- Estimates: Provide clients with clear and detailed estimates for grooming services and address all questions or concerns
- creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to enhance skills and provide the best care for pets.
Requirements
- 1-3 years grooming experience (MINIMUM 1 YEAR REQUIRED)
- Proven experience as a pet groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
- Knowledge of various grooming techniques for different breeds.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming styles, and products.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets at once.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays as needed.
Flexible language requirement:
