You will be responsible for bathing, drying, and grooming pets while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties
- Bathe and dry pets using appropriate techniques and products.
- Brush and comb pets to remove mats and tangles.
- Inspect pets for any skin issues, parasites, or abnormalities.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathing areas, grooming tools, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet's needs and care.
- Assist with heavy lifting of larger pets as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet grooming or bathing is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds of dogs.
- A genuine love for animals and a passion for their care.
- Attention to detail to ensure all grooming tasks are completed thoroughly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
