Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with client in our down town location. You must be willing to work every other weekend, as well as through the week. Nights may be required at times, you must have graduated from a PSW or DSW program.Your support will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.
Duties
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Engage with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
- Must be a team player
- Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while providing compassionate support.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes a requirement
- Background in caregiving or client care is beneficial.
- Experience working with or individuals with developmental disabilities a must
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by clients needs.
- A caring attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
