We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals in home care settings. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Transfer client independently and safely using a mechanical lift (Hoyer lift) or any lifting devices.
- Medications reminders as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring clients maintain their independence while receiving the necessary support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space of clients.
- Document care provided and report any significant changes in client health or behavior to the person in charge.
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical lifting device for transfer is a must.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients safely.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required by client needs.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
