Job Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and help promote resident independence
- Assist with meal service and feeding as needed
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality protocols
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive resident experience
- PSW certificate from a recognized Ontario college or program (NACC or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in long-term care or senior living
- Knowledge of senior care practices, safety standards, and resident rights
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful with strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow care plans and routines
- Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
