We are looking for a personal and friendly Personal Lines Assistant for a full-time position.
Qualifications:
· General Insurance Level 2 a must
· 4+ years of experience in Personal Lines
· Experience in using Power Quote and Power Broker an asset
· Good ability to learn new tasks and working knowledge of insurance company’s portals an asset.
· Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task multiple computer programs at once
· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion are important qualities
· Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
· You are highly motivated and a natural at building strong customer relationships
· Preferred understanding of policy wordings/coverages
Responsibilities:
· Quoting on new business from in-house leads and referrals
· Customer maintenance of files and assisting Personal Lines Account Managers
· Setting up customers referrals in our CRM system and assigning them
· Navigating multiple insurance portals to complete customer applications
· Communicating with underwriters to ensure coverage and evolving guidelines are met
· Processing all documentation (renewal letters, binders, policies and endorsements, invoices)
· General office duties and responsibilities as assigned
