About the Role:
- Answer telephone professionally and within two rings. Offer assistance before directing clients to the appropriate person or voicemail.
- Respond to client inquiries and return phone calls in a timely manner.
- Produce written client correspondence professionally and in accordance with Schill guidelines.
- Solicit, sell, and service all forms of personal lines business for new and existing clients.
- Develop business opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling.
- Underwrite new and renewal business according to company guidelines.
- Process new business, policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations according to established procedures.
- Contact clients regarding renewals and re-market options when necessary to meet their needs and retain their business.
- Maintain up to date client records in Epic, including communication and documentation.
- Create and follow up on abeyances for outstanding underwriting items and client requests.
- Maintain zero accounts receivable for both direct bill and agency bill policies.
- Acquire, maintain, and upgrade technical skills and personal knowledge of insurance products.
- Maintain positive working relationships with external and internal groups, including company underwriters and your fellow team members.
- Assist in processing all types of personal lines insurance including renewals, transfers, changes, permits, cancellations, debt collections, special coverages, and general customer inquiries.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned, either temporarily or permanently.
About You:
- Level 1 general insurance license
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Insurance industry
- Natural ability to build strong client relationships.
- Thorough knowledge of personal insurance concepts and processes.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional priority management and organization ability.
- Desire to learn and support the team.
- Proficient at navigating web-based portals and programs.
- Critical thinker and solution finder.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
