Hello! We’re a fast-growing French bakery in Vancouver. We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time pastry cook who will help us to create our unique pastries and dessert. We will welcome a passionate candidate who loves to bake and works well under pressure.
Duties:
- Start working at 6:00-6:30AM
- This is NOT a positon for pastry lamination
- Decorate Chiffon cakes
- Sandwich and pastries prep
- Make a variety of cream and pastries following recipes and quality standards
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an artisan bakery or pastry shop
- Need at least 2-year baker/pastry Cook experience at a commercial bakery/Pastry shop
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
