Parts Manager - River Valley Ford
Job Overview
River Valley Ford, part of the Landsperg Automotive Group, is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. This leadership role is responsible for managing inventory, supporting service operations, optimizing department performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service for both internal teams and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Department Success
- Lead a profitable and efficient Parts Department through effective purchasing, inventory control, merchandising, pricing, and advertising.
- Act as a trusted advisor and profit contributor, consistently analyzing operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Set and work toward department goals and KPIs.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally, following dealership policies.
Lead and Develop Your Team
- Hire, train, coach, and supervise Parts Department staff.
- Schedule daily activities and ensure productive workflows.
- Offer technical support and mentorship as needed.
- Promote a collaborative, motivated, and accountable team culture.
Embody the Ford Brand
- Complete all required dealership and manufacturer training on time.
- Ensure all team members meet Ford’s training requirements.
- Stay informed on new product releases, technical updates, and promotional programs.
- Champion dealership marketing efforts to drive sales of Parts, Accessories, and Tires.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean workspaces at all times.
Collaborate for Efficiency
- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure timely turnaround of internal work orders.
- Foster strong interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the manufacturer and suppliers.
Stay Ahead of the Industry
- Keep current on competitor products, pricing, and key features.
- Maintain working knowledge of relevant federal, provincial, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive or similar industry's Parts Department or similaris required
- Minimum 1 year dealership product experience is preferred
- Experience with PBS dealership managment system is required
- Strong understanding of automotive parts and technical repair processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
