T&T Power Group is a power generation, distribution and automation sales and service company. We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the opening of the Parts Coordinator position. Your responsibilities will our production and service efforts in our Ottawa Branch. The successful candidate will be expected to grasp the complexities of the job and demonstrate the ability to successfully handle many disparate responsibilities in a very short time. Monday - Friday In office position required
Work location: In-office & Remote
- Initial Remote Phase (Immediate – September)
- In-Office Relocation (Effective October), this position will transition to a full-time, in-office role in Ottawa, Monday to Friday. Reliable daily commute required.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- On demand parts procurement for our Ottawa Service Technicians
- Providing parts support for technicians, service managers, and other staff
- Maintaining roster of vendors
- Sourcing new vendors
- Managing relationships with existing vendors
- Shipping and receiving of service parts
- Establishing and maintaining regular stock based on service requirements and product sales
- Managing and maintaining service equipment and tools, specifically load banking equipment
- Cleanliness and maintenance of Shop floor and adhering to H&S requirements
- Provide improvements to current practices.
- Inventory counts and responsibilities for inventory is solely the responsibility of parts coordinator
- Audit secondary locations ( remote services)
Requirements:
The Parts Coordinator should possess a combination of technical knowledge, communication skills, and strong organizational abilities:
· Technical knowledge - ideally, automotive or heavy equipment background
· Attention to detail - accurately identify parts and ensure that orders are filled correctly.
· Communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and other team members, both in person and in writing.
· Customer service - Contact with vendors and internal departments.
· Organizational skills - highly organized, with the ability to manage inventory, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
· Problem solving skills - able to quickly identify and address issues related to parts and inventory management.
· Time management - able to manage their time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
