Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts needs, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department.
Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their needs.
- Process transactions accurately through the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and availability of parts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the shop foreman to order parts for repairs of our customer vehicles..
- Stay updated on product knowledge to effectively advise customers on parts selection.
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
- Multilingual abilities are an asset, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of vehicle parts such as springs, u-bolts, air bags, etc -- a HUGE asset
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH VEHICLE PARTS.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
