The Role at High Level:
We're looking for a talented Partner Specialist who doesn't shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting (well, most times) subjects like payroll and HR technology. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of our partners, providing guidance and support to help them maximize the value of Wagepoint. You will report directly to our Director, Sales and Strategic Partnerships.
This role has a base salary of $70,000 - $80,000 + OTE of $60,000

What You'll Be Expected To Own:
- Meet or exceed partner acquisition & sub-client targets: Own monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas for new partner signups and client activations.
- Source and prospect new partners: Drive a steady pipeline through outbound outreach to accounting and bookkeeping firms.
- Manage the full partner sales cycle: from initial contact to onboarding, activation, and first client onboarding.
- Drive first-year partner success: Guide new partners to confidently onboard clients and grow their book of business with Wagepoint.
- Be a product and program expert: Master Wagepoint’s platform and partner benefits to deliver high-impact demos and sales conversations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with marketing, onboarding, and partner account managers to align on messaging, campaigns, and handoffs.
What You Bring To The Table:
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or payroll-related industries
- A proven ability to hit or exceed targets in an outbound, high-activity sales environment
- Experience managing full-cycle sales, including onboarding and revenue activation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to prioritize effectively
Bonus points if:
- You’ve worked with or sold to accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services firms
- You’ve previously sold through a channel or partner model
- You bring a deep understanding of the payroll or HR tech landscape
