Now Hiring: Part-Time Nanny – Mooney’s Bay, Ottawa
Ottawa Nannies & Family Services is seeking a professional, experienced nanny to care for a 6-month-old baby beginning August 1st, 2025. This is a part-time role based in the Mooney’s Bay area, with daytime shifts 4 days per week, approximately 7–8 hours per day.
This family values education, engagement, and thoughtful caregiving. They are looking for someone who can offer attentive, enriching care throughout the day while also maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Position Overview:
- Location: Mooney’s Bay, Ottawa
- Schedule: 4 days/week, approx. 7–8 hours/day
- Start Date: August 1st, 2025
- Child: One infant (6 months old at time of start)
- Duties Include:
- Full-day infant care (feeding, naps, play, diapering, walks)
- Preparing food for the baby
- Reading, singing, and engaging in hands-on, age-appropriate play
- Maintaining daily routines and structure
- Attending potential local playgroups or outings
- Light housekeeping related to the baby, including:
- Baby laundry
- Tidying and sanitizing bottles, toys, and play areas
- Nursery upkeep and general organization

Candidate Requirements:
- Strong experience with infants, confident in independent care
- CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communicator, highly organized
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle preferred (but not required)
- Bonus: Background in early learning, education, or ECE is an asset
