RAPS is Seeking part time LPN to assist a high medical needs pediatric client (E4)
Location: Red Deer
Hours: 10-15 hours a week * Flexible with days and times
Weekdays and weekends
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Personal care (bathing, dressing and changing a child’s Diaper). Care of a Tracheostomy, including trach suctioning, c-pap machine usage and sterilization, G-tube feedings and PRN Medication administration through G-Tube, checking of full vitals, full documentation, general observations and equipment checks, interaction with child (reading books, playing games, ect), laundry, light housekeeping, and supervision. Eventually accompany child to playschool come the fall
Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, LPN license in Alberta with minimum of 6 months experience working with high medical needs children, a valid first aide/ CPR certificate and experience with Trach’s on children. Having a driver’s license and vehicle is considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $28.00- $40.00/ hour based on qualifications and experience
