Part-Time Journalist & Interview Editor
We’re a tech news publisher seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Journalist and Interview Editor to represent us in Toronto. This isn’t a desk-only role. You’ll be meeting partners and industry leaders face-to-face, attending events, running interviews (in person and on Zoom), and creating video content for our social channels. You’ll also play a key role in our editorial process.
What You’ll Do:
- Meet as many PR agencies and comms contacts as possible - ideally in person
- Conduct and edit interviews
- Write high-priority stories and commentaries
- Spot issues early and solve them fast
- Collaborate with the Publisher on key editorial decisions
- Analyse competitors, flag missed stories, and identify gaps

- Outgoing personality - comfortable on camera, at events, and with clients
- Sharp editorial instincts
