Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an emphasis on commercial cleaning standards.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at various job sites each day by your own means of transportation.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift and move items as necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the facility's operational needs.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, daytime shifts, average 5 hours per day
- Some short evening hours also available if desired, average 2-3 hours
