Our coffee and tea program reflects that same commitment. We serve locally roasted, specialty coffee and offer a thoughtfully curated selection of teas.

Duties
- Lead and oversee daily baking operations including pastries, scones, cookies, quick breads, and seasonal items
- Manage production schedules and coordinate within team of 2 to ensure all baked goods are prepared for service
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior baking staff
- Maintain quality control standards across all baked products
- Develop and standardize recipes while innovating new seasonal offerings
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost control for baking ingredients and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain clean, organized prep areas
- Coordinate with front-of-house team for special orders, display items, and daily needs
- Lead special events and catering order fulfillment
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling, staff performance reviews, and reporting
- Step into customer-facing roles when needed to support the team
Qualifications
- Red Seal Endorsement (RSE) – Baker (Strongly Preferred)
- Culinary or Baking Certificate or Diploma (required)
- Minimum 5 years of baking experience (required)
- Proven experience in commercial or high-volume baking operations (required)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Creative and innovative approach to recipe development and seasonal offerings
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification (required)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Passionate about food quality, creativity, and presentation
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends
- Willingness to cross-train and assist in other café operations when needed
