RAPS is Seeking a part time Support worker to assist 3 brothers-aged (30-34 yrs.) (E8)
Location: South Edmonton (Mill woods)
The ideal candidate will have flexibility in their schedule
Days: 14 - 20 hours per week.
(1-2 evenings per week, 2- 3 afternoons per week, and 2- 3 weekend days per month, or some combination of these.)
Occasional availability to provide entire weekend respite (Friday evening - Sunday evening) would be helpful.
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: planning, supporting and participating in activities/outings in the community; meal planning and preparation; encouraging and developing life skills & relationship building; overseeing home projects.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, have an active lifestyle, be non-smoking, have a driver’s licence and reliable vehicle and be able to provide a clean driver abstract and appropriate insurance for client transportation. Preference will be given to those who have experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable and handy/familiar with tools.
Rate of Pay: $22/ hour to start, qualifications will be taken into consideration
