seeking experienced, compassionate part/time caregiver/housekeeper starting September 1st. Caregiver will be assisting with a high functioning stroke patient. This position will start as part time initially 4days/week and transition into a full time live-in role starting November 1st through to April. Ability to travel internationally during the winter is a requirement.
Housing and food will be provided at no additional cost. Experience with stroke recovery, massage therapy or physiotherapy is strongly preferred. The expectations of the role are as follows:
- assisting patient with showering, daily stretching and ROM exercises and other activities of daily living.
- Accompanying patient on daily walks,
- shopping for groceries and everyday items
- Other errands as required
- Preparing meals
- Laundry
- Light cleaning/necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean living space
- Accompanying the family during travel
- Assisting with care of family pets (2cats).
- Yard care during summer months and assisting with home maintenance as needed.
- Providing friendship and emotional support to the individual
- Mandatory requirements:
- Must currently live in the Regina area, hold a valid passport and be able to travel internationally during winter months
- Must have valid drivers licence
- Must have strong English language skills

Pay: $3,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
