Job Overview
Keep it Klean Janitorial is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This would be an afternoon position 2 hours Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. There is some flexibility with the scheduled hours.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in an office setting located in the Industrial Park near the Kelowna Airport. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and efficiency as well as the ability to perform cleaning tasks while working around other individuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
