Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of one section of MUSC 4363/5363.03 Topics in Musicology, from September 1 to December 31, 2025 (fall term). This is a special topics seminar course capped at 12 students and cross-listed at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The candidate will work closely with teaching staff in the musicology area to coordinate curriculum requirements. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
PhD or ABD status in Musicology; teaching experience at the university level and evidence of teaching effectiveness (formal course evaluations). Please apply online, with a copy of your curriculum vitae and a cover letter.
