Summary
We are seeking an Operations Management Trainee to join our team at Canadian Home Healthcare. This position is designed for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills in the healthcare industry while contributing to our mission of improving client care. The role will provide valuable insights into various aspects of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations and management tasks across various departments.
- Participate in training programs to develop leadership and management skills.
- Selected candidate will be expected to learn administration and support roles in the Sleep apnea and Home Oxygen departments.
- Support the implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a sleep medicine or respiratory related field.
- Preference given to individuals with an RPSGT or Paramedic designation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluent written and spoken English language.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Primary work base – North York – regular travel to other company locations.
- Participation in home oxygen on call.
- Working knowledge of Quick Books Accounting Software preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office 9cluding strong Excel skills.
- Must hold valid driver’s licence.
