We are currently seeking a highly self motivated Corporate and/or litigation Paralegal to join our in-house legal team, supporting the General Counsel in delivering legal services across a wide range of corporate and litigation matters.

You will work closely with the General Counsel to support the legal needs of our diverse operations including commercial transactions, real estate, construction law, litigation, employment matters, regulatory compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and organize corporate records, resolutions, minute books, and regulatory filings
- Support litigation processes, including document preparation, file management, and coordination with external counsel
- Draft and edit correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and assist with due diligence on transactions and projects
- Assist in compliance and corporate governance matters
- Collaborate with various departments and business units across our operations
- Provide support and coordination on real estate transactions and development and construction agreements, and related matters.
- Support the General Counsel on M&A, corporate governance, and restructuring activities across the family office portfolio.
- Help develop and refine internal policies and processes that align with legal requirements and business objectives.
- Paralegal diploma or certificate from a recognized institution
- At least 10 years of paralegal experience, with strong background in corporate law and litigation
- Familiarity with BC court procedures and corporate compliance requirements
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Clio and legal practice management software
- Excellent judgment, strong analytical skills, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a wide range of business functions.
