Paint Department Supervisor
At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.
We are currently looking for a Paint Department Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our team of sales associates to make E.G. Penner the premiere name in paint and decor.
Key Responsibilities:
The Paint Department Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the department, ensure smooth sales processes, maintain a welcoming environment, and manage staff and inventory.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills by presenting products and services to customers in a manner that provides them with paint solutions and benefits. You will participate in the merchandising of product, mix paint, stock shelves, and actively participate as a member of the paint department team. This is a full time position including shifts on Saturdays, on a rotating basis.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Previous customer service and sales experience is required.
· Management and/or supervisory experience preferred.
· Experience in the paint industry and knowledge of paint products, or related education and experience, is a definite asset.
· Have a strong eye for interior décor with training or experience in interior design.
· Demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment.
