Our Outside Waterworks Salesperson is responsible for selling products to customers and involves meeting potential and existing clients in person. Key duties include prospecting new customers, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts, and closing sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills are essential.

Compensation package will be between $69,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year which includes commissions, vehicle allowance, cell phone and gas card. Wages may be scaled with relevant experience and/or education.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and generating leads: Identifying potential customers and initiating contact to generate new sales opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships: Developing strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide them with the best solutions.
- Negotiating and closing sales: Negotiating pricing to secure sales and close deals with customers.
- Providing excellent customer service: Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Collaborating with internal teams: Working closely with customer support teams to align sales strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Representing the company at events and trade shows.
- Staying updated on industry trends and competition: Continuously learning about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Tracking and reporting sales activities: Keeping accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, meetings, and progress towards sales targets. Providing regular reports to management.
Essential:
- Completion of grade 12
- Having prior experience in the waterworks or construction industry is valuable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and communicate with customers.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
