1 ‑ Full Time ‑ Operator
Medical Device Reprocessing Department
This position will involve working the Day, Evening & Weekend shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a
guarantee.
Under the general direction of the Manager ‑ MDRD, the MDRD Operator cleans, maintains, wraps sterilizes and
distributes medical equipment.
Qualifications:
* Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
* Must be currently certified with Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario (MDRAO).
* Recertification with (CSAO) every five (5) years is required.
* Must be trained and competent in the core functions of MDR.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, particularly in the operative area, with evidence of training in
asepsis or sterile technique.
* Working knowledge of O.R. instrumentation.
* Knowledge and skill of sterilization technique according to standards for Vaporized Peroxide and Steam.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a fast paced team environment.
* Proven track record of compliance with the Code of Conduct.
Salary Range: $27.909 to 28.354
