Team Supervision & Leadership
- Manage and supervise a team of employees (e.g., warehouse staff, drivers, office staff).
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to team members.
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
- Monitor workflow and productivity, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and incident investigations.
- Train staff on safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure materials/supplies are available.
- Coordinate with procurement or supply chain teams as needed.
- Monitor and reduce waste or inefficiencies.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement changes.
- Support lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Streamline workflows to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Liaise with other departments (sales, logistics, HR, etc.) to support overall business objectives.
- Handle customer or client concerns related to operational issues.
- Ensure service level agreements and delivery schedules are met.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and performance.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures and changes.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, production, or team supervision.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required.
- Industry-specific experience may be preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and technology in general.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- High level of organization and time management.
