Job Summary
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organized Operations Manager to help us bring our weekly classes to life. This person will be the heartbeat of our Edmonton Team, managing equipment logistics, venue bookings and scheduling and leading a growing team. The successful candidate will share our passion for creativity, play, and connection, while helping to foster unforgettable experiences that bring families and the community together.
Duties
- ● Availability to work a flexible schedule, with a minimum of 3 weekdays (or 16 hours) per week
● Organized and Detail-Oriented – Oversee class equipment and props, making sure each week’s theme is packed and prepared for our changing adventures
● Operational Oversight – Coordinate venue bookings, contracts and being the primary point of contact for day-to-day logistics, ensuring all processes are followed efficiently and accurately
● Team Leader - Manage staff scheduling and assisting with the onboarding of new employees, providing clear communication to the team and reinforcing operational protocols to support a well-structured team
● Community Engagement and Outreach - Help spread the word about Lullaland! Distribute posters, flyers and support local marketing efforts to connect with young families across the city
● Reliable transportation required - the successful candidate must be able to travel to various locations across Edmonton, with the ability to bring the equipment when needed
● Comfortable in classes – Can confidently step into the class setting, leading or assisting the weekly classes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.60-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
