We are currently recruiting personnel for an upcoming offshore / marine position for the international transit & short term work offshore Newfoundland & Labrador.
POSITION for RECRUITMENT:
- Offshore Administrator (Catering Dept.)
EXPERIENCE:
- 6+ Months working onboard Supply Vessel or Oil Rig as an Administrator
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Coordinate allocation of cabins for all personnel on board;
- Maintain Persons on board database, lifeboat and cabin allocation lists;
- Assist in Coordinating crew changes;
- Ensure all 1st time joiners are given their job description and Short Service Employee form upon on arrival, ensure they are filed and registered accordingly;
- Preparation of documents for the off-signing crew and ensure all crew have flight details for joining or leaving the vessel, checking all arriving crew/ subcontractors are in possession of valid medical and relevant training certificates;
- Assist Catering manager in any other administration jobs where needed.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Canadian Passport or PR status
- Valid STCW’95 Basic Safety
- Marine First Aid
- WHMIS 2015
- Transport Canada Seafarer’s Medical
- Transport Canada Seaman’s Book
- Must be willing to undergo industry required medical & drug assessments
- Must be willing to work approximately 6 weeks onboard/hitch
