The Position:
We are looking for a part-time (25-30) Office Cleaner to join our team. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of various commercial buildings in Thunder Bay. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker who is willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, stock, and organize office space
- Maintain supply inventory
- Perform general cleaning of buildings.
- Perform maintenance tasks around the office (e.g., light bulb replacement, window cleaning)
- Report any maintenance concerns or issues to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the building
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more without assistance
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals including but not limited to cleaning solvents, ammonia and bleach
- Must be able to read and communicate in English (both written and verbal) as well as follow oral instructions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
