NATURE OF WORK
Under the general direction of the Coordinator of Human Resources – Operations, the principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in assuming responsibility for coordinating the administrative tasks associated with the established procedures.
He performs specialized work that is characterized by the interpretation and selection of the data obtained.
He may also be assigned, exclusively or not, to one or more relatively complex and specialized tasks in a particular field.
CHARACTERISTICS FUNCTIONS
The duties of the employee in this class of employment involve specialization in the selection, preparation and verification of data as well as in the preparation of documents, including the recording of documents obtained as a result of research within or outside the organization. The employee may, in particular and with respect to:
Submit disability absence files online to Organizational Solutions Inc. (OSI);
Follow up files; update the file(s);
Prepare and send letters for disability, maternity, paternity, or any other absence;
Follow up on files with the Directors.
Enter data into the computer system concerned;
Manage the registration and filing system in accordance with established procedures;
Answer to various employees’ questions;
Follow up on missing documents from employees’ files;
Perform routine clerical duties;
Use a computer and the various software required;
Assist in the recording and maintaining of specific employee data in the computer system; including participating employee file management integrity;
The employee in this class of employment distributes and verifies work and gives his or her advice on its quality. Also, ensures that deadlines are met;
Other duties as requested by his superior.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in an appropriate specialty for the class of employment, a
Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by
the competent authority;
Have six (6) years of pertinent experience;
Have a thorough knowledge of office automation;
Written knowledge of English is a requirement;
Fluency in English and Cree is a requirement;
Knowledge of French is an asset.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
