UCAB is seeking 2 experienced, highly motivated, and dependable part-time dispatchers to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Answer incoming calls and obtain/verify customer information.
Respond to enquiries.
Evaluate, dispatch & coordinate with drivers by tracking GPS and monitoring trips.
Provide general information in regards to customer trip or account status.
Communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone, and two-way radio.
Process payments received (handling cash, Point of Sale machines)
Sorting and filing documents, entering information into various programs and other office duties.
Perform any other general duties as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to work in a diverse environment with frequent interruptions
Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
Must have a pleasant phone manner
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Must have typing skills and experience working on computers.
Must have excellent knowledge of Sault Ste Marie and the surrounding area

WE ARE A 24/7 365 DAY A YEAR OPERATION. CANDIDATES MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN TERMS OF AVAILABILITY (DAYS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS).

Hours: 16-30 hours/week

Through its most recent evolution, the company has launched its own Mobile Apps in Android & iOS and in–car debit and credit payment system. UCAB offers prepaid accounts, corporate accounts, pre-booked pickup times, 24/7 service and dispatcher or online booking.
